It doesn't matter what the result was (they were playing london nigeria and there were some very big oppositin players)but we had a great day out.

Helmet
I won't wear my helmet at the moment because I have been physically and pyschologically scarred (long story) but Zara loves to rub it in and wears it at every oppurtunity.
Self Portraits
We can't believe there is a heatwave in NZ and we are not there to enjoy it.... instead we have a lovely grey and wet london to enjoy, so we are mostly staying indoors.
Mum Zara and I drew this mural, mum thought we might be able to put it on the wall, but I thought wearing it was a much better way to dispay it.
I'm not in these photo's because I took them, we had a fun 20 minutes posing for and taking photo's. (check out Zara's motor..... and she is not putting that on, I promise you it is always like that :-))
Then mum told us we could get some photo's of all of us which was a blast, we all ran back to the couch just in time for the camera to take our photo's.
Then dad came home and we managed to get a family photo, a definate rarity.

60th at Llangollen
After Christmas we all packed our bags, loaded up the cars and headed up to north wales to Llangollen (pronounced something like Clan Lock Clan) we were all too shy to attempt it and spent most of the week bumbling our way through it.
It was grandads 60th birthday celebrations and we decided to make it a grand affair and spent the week at Trevor Hall, it was a grand and fitting way to celebrate our lovely grandads birthday, and awesome that most of the family were there and totally swallowed up by the big house.
Bubbles to kick off the celebrations :-)
mum and zara settling in, nb check out grandad in his seat next to the fireplace, making himself right at home
setting out to survey the property, all 80 hectares of it, we were all still pinching ourselves, it was dark when we arrived and we really didn't expect it to be quite so magnificent, what a great place to stay
grandad and uncle seamus setting the pace in the pool room
breakfast fry up aga style thanks to seamus under the guidance of aunty fleur
we went for a walk along the llangollen canals on the 30th dec, stretching our legs before the party begins, the party boy is looking incredibly fresh below :-)
Hanging out with the girls in the "cinema room" no doubt watching dora, in the night garden or hi 5.
Happy Birthday Grandad, you definately don't look 60...... thanks for an awesome party, and for a fabulous week, you should turn 60 more often!!
I got to stay up for the party although admittedly I didn't last very long.... it sounds like i missed a ripper of a party
Nana and Grandad with Dai Chef our "celebrity" welsh chef :-) He has cooked for the All Blacks, Pavaroti, Kiri te Kanawa amongst many others, we were quite humbled have him with us
Nana and Grandad the matriarch and grandfather of the family, and don't they look the part!!
