More Snow Shots

Looking across Le Lac to Val Claret, during the snow and after the snow, mum took these photo's from the balcony of our 1 star hotel.

Snow Snow and more Snow in Tignes

our first day at Tignes we headed out to explore the village

and show off our new sunglasses and ski jackets.... we had no idea how much we were going to need our snow jackets!

our first night in the hotel.... in her excitement she forgot something :-)

day 1 and they took dad right to the top! 3000 metres above sea level in a blizard and he has only skied twice before!

heading off to school in the snow... its not like going to school in putney

zara was not a big fan of the snow, she prefered to be inside where it was warm and cosy

its a tuff job clearing the cars but someone had to do it

outside school, there is a car in there somewhere

this kind of shows how cold it was, our folks couldn't talk to each other on the chair lift they had to cover every bit of exposed skin and hope that they didn't get frost bite

with all the snow on the ground it was difficult to walk so we took to the sleds

zara catching a ride with me

then we found this slope where our parents hurdled us off the edge and tried to catch us at the bottom

on the way home.....

..... we found an igloo

so we all went inside for a nosey

i'm not sure that zara was too impressed!

and then the sun came out..... this is dad waiting nervously in the queue for the button lift (poma) he made it all the way to the top of the mountain and it was 950 metres long.

and then came the views

these two are taken from our hotel room across le lac

dad! about to embark on the black runs - what a view

mum!!

dad, james and chloe, even though they had ski itis they did stop for lunch

finally it stopped snowing long enough for us to build a snowman

even though his arms were made from twigs he was a very cuddly snowman

back inside the igloo

daisy and i made cakes for chloe's birthday

mum tried to get me to do a serious face for a photo of our snowman (24 hours old) and travel bear

Happy Mothers Day

I made these flowers for mum at school, she was so happy to have them I didn't have to do the vacuuming and dusting like I thought I would have to do.

Zara and I love this new laundry basket, so much so that mum has to go back to primark and buy another one, at 2 pound a pop we could get a dozen :-)

Zara has taken a fancy to watching tele in mum and dads room, mum said we mustn't tell anyone because it is not very good parenting letting your kids watch the tv, even if it is the wiggles
