Last weekend we took dad to the wetland centre for the first time. We saw lots of different birds and even went in to the bird watching hut thing where we had to be really quiet. Dad really liked the wetland centre too and said we can go back there. Yippee

One exceedingly hot sunny saturday we decided to visit hyde park and found lady di's memorial which is a snake of water weaving its way around a grassy bank, it was packed with people but quite an awesome place to hang out.

Beach trip to Bournemouth
On a warm spring day in May, Nana decided to take all her grandchildren on a trip to the beach, so we packed our swimmers and sunscreen, hired a 7 seater, all piled in and headed to Bournemouth, how wrong could we have been it was freezing!!! This photo was taken at the end of the pier, we were very close to be blown across the channel.
We weren't the only crazy ones, those black spots in the water behind me are die hard surfers waiting for the perfect wave - a probably not in Bournemouth fella's.!!
Fortunately the rain stopped long enough the next day for us to make in on to the sand. Mums friend has a really cool beach hut with all the mods and cons and we had a fabulous day building sandcastles and collecting shells.
We caught the noddy train from the beach hut back to the pier, it was a great way to see the sights of bournemouth. Travel bear from my nursery came with us.
Back in london and the sun is out.... no place like home :-)
