London Zoo

After a whole summer of star charts and good behaviour we finally got to go to the london zoo, it was a good time of the year to go not too many people and we got to see all the animals except the lions because all they did was sleep. The tiger was very cool and we loved the giraffes and monkeys, another hit was definitely the big slide, £2 each for 3 slides, Zara snuck up for an extra go so I said I had better go up after her, he he we got away with it :-)

Everyone say "cheese"

Zara's 1st day at Little Fingers

This week Zara started at little fingers with me 2 mornings a week. We are so excited to scoot to school together and Zara barely leaves my side when we get there. We are both really enjoying it though and Zara hasn't been sad to say goodbye to mummy at all! She is so brave!

Louvre

We went to the Louvre to have our photos taken next to the pyramids but we were pleasantly surprised because there were no queues and it was free to get in (free the 1st sunday of each month) when we finally made our way to the mona lisa we discovered that the rest of paris were already there which is why there were no queues, but we did get a pretty good look at it, helps to be little you can worm your way right to the front :-)

Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees & Notre Dame

The AdT was very close to the hotel so we went past it everyday. We caught the hop on hop off bus from the under the AdT

We used the Notre Dame as a backdrop for family photo's, by the time we got there we were all sightseeing out so didn't go inside, mum said it is just like every other big church, hope she is right.

Me and Dad on the metro, going to catch the eurostar back to london

Eiffel Tower

Eating icecreams while dad joins the queue... no sense in us all standing in the queue

and after 2 hours of queuing we finally made it to the top 300 mt above paris, the wind was blowing a gale, with the hair in our eyes we didn't get to see much

although i did manage to blow maddy a kiss in nz and aunty erin one in england

and the ever fearless Zara wanted to get even higher, 300 mt is just not enough for her

back down on the safety of level two
