Friday night fish n chips
Last friday we had our fist experience of going to the fish and chip shop and bringing dinner home. Mum said Nana & Grandad used to do that every Friday when we were kids but I think the Fish 'n' Chips in NZ might be nicer. In saying that we all enjoyed the experience and I think mum and Caidens mum thought it was quite a nice experience too, no cooking or dishes to do afterwards. Might become a regular occurrence in our house!!!

Watching our uncles play rugby
Last weekend our three uncles Sean, BJ & Kevin all played rugby in the same team, 10, 11 & 12. It made deciding which game to go and watch easy and as an added bonus we got an icecream.
Below, Uncle Kevin has the ball, Uncle Sean is on his right and Uncle BJ is out wide.
This is a sequence of photos where Uncle Kevin set Uncle Sean up for a try.....
1. Kevin and Sean waiting for the ball to come out wide
2. Uncle Kevin has the ball and passes it to Sean
3. Uncle Sean takes the ball across the line
4. and touchdown its an O'Malley brother try that will go down in the history books!!! We will always be able to say "we were there when......"

Facepainting
It was a bit cold outside so mum convinced us to stay indoors for the afternoon, with the promise of painting, well it wasn't long before Zara had paint on her nose so we decided to do some serious facepainting, entertained us for an afternoon but safe to say we won't be doing too many more painting afternoons, think mum would prefer we did all our painting at school so someone else can clean up after us :-)
