Xmas 2009

Zara and I came running downstairs to see if Santa had eaten his mince pie and were very excited to see he had left us a present....

And then it was time for us to give Dad his presents.
Then we went to Uncle Sean and Fleurs for xmas dinner. We had such a great time there we didn't actually leave their house for nearly 48 hours. Fleur cooked a delicious and HUGE turkey.....
while dad and Kirsty sorted out the wines :)

Xmas tradition, someone always gets the mo in their cracker and this year it was me!

Zara with her 2 favourite presents, Angelina Ballerina and her butterly t-shirt (the big pile of tin foil in the background is the turkey resting)
And this is dad expertly carving the turkey - much to mums surprise (and delight)
Gathering for the feast, uncle sean rounding us all up
The Hogg, Aunty Fleur, Kirsty, Uncle Sean, Liam, Dad, Me and Zara
Zara with her xmas cracker treat
Liam and uncle sean tucking in to the xmas pud!
This is aunty fleur teaching zara and I how to put on our new make up (thanks aunty amy i think dad will have something to say to you!!)
Practicing on Fleur before we try it on ourselves....
.....and the end result :-)

Pre Xmas '09

as part of the pre xmas season Aunty Fleur took Zara and I to see Stick Man which is a very cool play based on a book by the same people that wrote the gruffalo, Zara and I were transfixed the whole time it was brilliant, when we came out in typical English fashion it was dark!
and cold..... not that its cold on the train :-)
This is getting to know your grandparents 21st century :( its a bit sad really but atleast he knows who nana and grandad are even if he does think they live in the "puter"

My Nativity Play

My first nativity play at big school and I was an angel along with 29 other angels

This is Ms Grove my headmistress leading me out of the
hall, I was pretty proud of myself!

Liam's 1st Birthday

Zara all hands on making Liams 1st birthday cake.

Liam enjoying his first experience of opening presents,
by the end of the day he was looking for more
Eating one of his new presents
Daddy and Liam playing with his new train set, not sure who is
going to get more enjoyment out of it!

We took the day off school and work to go to Winterwonderland
at Hyde Park, where we got to meet the "Real Santa"
And for a 1 year old Liam was very brave and went straight to him
Zara and I were very excited about all the rides
and Liam was very jealous that we got to go on them without him

Zara's Nativity Play

Last weekend was Zara's nativity play, she was very excited and has been practising her songs in the bath, she promised not to suck her fingers and to sing all the songs.

She did very well and didn't suck her fingers...

But she did forget to sing!
