Stonehenge

On our way home from Bath we took the green roads and ended up at Stonehenge which was a very big bonus. We were going to look at it through the fence but we decided to go in and listen to the commentary which was very worthwhile, or so mum and dad said anyway.

And while we were at Stonehenge nana took our first family photo with Liam in it, a very rare picture.

Trip to Bath not Shower p2

When nana and grandad were here we took a trip to Bath, grandad kept getting it confused and calling it shower, but we told him he was being silly. It is a beautiful city, we visited the ancient roman baths, the abbey and the river avon, took a bus trip and stayed in a very cool b&b. We were only away for two days but it was such a lovely city everyone took loads of photos.

Bath time

Mum has lots of photos to post on the blog, from the Borough Markets, Bath, Stonehenge so watch this space but she wanted to show this cute photo of nana and grandad giving Liam a bath before they went home to NZ and some photos of grandad and Liam hanging out. We had so much fun with Nana and Grandad here, it was very sad to say goodbye.

Sandcastles and Football at Brancaster Bay

It was a cold and miserable Easter Sunday in Norfolk but we still braved the beach. Armed with buckets and spades and footballs we set out for Brancaster Bay. It took uncle seamus a while to get his hands out of his pockets but when he did he took over from nana and managed us all in the construction of "sandcastle of the year" Fleur and I were in charge of collecting shells for decoration, Zara was miserable in the cold and wanted to go home to watch Mamma Mia while dad, grandad bj and solfrid plaayed beach football. Liam slept in the front pack while Dad ran around he was totally unfazed.
