Wimbledon Park
We spent last Friday at Wimbledon park in the water fountains with our friends from Little Fingers Nursery, there might be a few extra people at the park next week as Wimbledon starts this week and the queues to get in go through this park.
Couch Jumping
Zara and I have watched a lot of Mamma Mia lately and one of our favourite bits is when she jumps on her bed during "Dancing Queen" We like to copy her but instead of jumping on our beds we use the couch. Our favourite past time!
Liam on the move
Slowly but surely Liam is growing up before our eyes, 6 months now and sitting up by himself and rolling around the floor. He is starting to push himself forward now too which we think means he will be crawling soon.
impromptu BBQ
We have been having some really nice summer weather and there is nothing like a bbq to get in the spirit of an english summer.... London isn't big on gas BBQ so we opt for the good old natural coal bbq option, nothing like a bit of good old fashioned smoke. BBQs are just an excuse for us to hang out with our uncles and aunties, and last weekend we toasted marshmallows on the hot embers, dad's first time ever roasting marshmallows, can you believe it!

Mamma Mia and Peppa
We have our first pets Mamma Mia and Peppa, Peppa is mine and MM is Zara's (surprise surprise) Peppa is black and orange and MM is white and orange.
The faces of weaning Liam
Liam is nearly 6 months already, which means he is starting to eat real food, mum has to keep an eye on Zara because she is feeding him all sorts of food and its not been unknown for mum to find chocolate biscuits in Liams mouth, but when mum is in control its all the pureed goodness that babies generally require.

A day at 25 Camborne Road
Nana Bradley wanted to see where we lived so we thought we would do a bit of a picture diary of the day. Tuesday 2nd June 2009 a very hot summers day in London, started off as usual at 25 Camborne Road
8:30am The Lounge! or as they call it over here "the reception"
8:31am the view from the front door, this is a very typical victorian terraced house, at 25 Camborne Road all the bedrooms are upstairs and all the living downstairs
8:32am Zara and I watching Dora the Explorer, it starts at 8:30 and gives mum half an hour grace. The windows at the far end of the "reception" look out on to the street
8:33am the other end of the "reception" french doors out to the garden
8:34am The Kitchen - I told mum to do the dishes but she just didn't listen
8:34am looking out the french doors in the kitchen to the garden!
8:35am Mum took this garden from the garden looking at the back of our house. The window above the kitchen is Liams room, and the other window at the back is mum and dads room
8:37am Up the stairs and in to our room - mum didn't make the beds!!! We have the Master Bedroom which we are very grateful for, it means mum and dad have to sleep in the small bedroom but hey what do they need a big room for, its not like they have any toys.
8:38am the view of the street from our bedroom window
9:12am Liam asleep in his cot, how can you tell he has two big sisters :-) Mum had to wake him up now so we can go to school
9:14am All ready for school, standing on the street outside our house about to get in the car to drive to school.
9:16am Mum finally has us all in the car and before she got in she stood in the middle of the road and took this photo
10:30am Katey is at school, Zara is happy playing outside time to feed Liam, all of a sudden he is loving his food. Plain old boring baby rice here.
11:03am Zara heads to the local shops to drop off Dads drycleaning. This is literally just around the corner from Camborne road, we are lucky to have a pub, a butcher, 3 dairies, a pharmacy, a post office, 2 kebab shops, an offlicense (wineshop), a bookies, a drycleaners, a bakery, a french restaurant and did we mention a pub!
11:08am Job done the drycleaning has been dropped off, now the fun part - running!
11:13am And on the way home we can stop in at BJ and Solfrids for coffee. They literally live just around the corner from Camborne Road on Colliston Road, and as they both work from home its very handy for a coffee break and the service is so much better than Starbucks :-)
11:14am ....and they make a mean Milo!
11:34am Due to the high temperatures Zara was very lucky to be served ice cream
2:25pm Stepping out to get Katey from school, Zara is yet to learn that walking 1/2 mile in high heels and 27 degrees isn't very time efficient. Liam is sensibly covered up in the pram
2:26pm Looking extremely cute though on the corner of Camborne and Colliston roads
3:13pm Katey successfully picked up we head to Olivia's for popcorn, paddling pool and dinner, strolling along the A3 with Olivia to her house
5:40pm Dinner done our goodbyes said and we scoot home (heels and all) Its only 10 minutes from Olivia's house to our house although we found alot to entertain along the way
5:45 pm Great way to get around, mum is always saying she wouldn't mind being pushed around London in there.
5:46pm Scooter break to make sure Liam is OK in the pram
6:36 Bath Time
6:42pm Its a tight squeeze but we all fit in.
6:43pm Liam loves bath time, and the bath seat makes life a lot easier for mum trying to bath all three of us
7:17pm While mum was reading us our bedtime story Liam tried to get away.....
7:18pm it looks like he will be pretty good at hide n seek :-)
7:37pm After another exhausting day at Camborne Road this is the best place to be.
