Lakes District with Nana and Grandad

Aunty Amy has asked that we put a few photos on here to show our holiday with Nana and Grandad. We had a week in the lakes district, took a couple of walks, a boat ride and lots of sightseeing, but to get the holiday started and to make sure we all had our priorities right our first adventure was to find a pub to watch the All Blacks v South Africa, Uncle Sean was looking after Nora before kick off but he wasn't so calm when the final whistle blew, what a brilliant start to the holiday.....

The start of our holiday also marked Nana and Grandads 39th wedding anniversary

Congratulations Nana and Grandad x

Hello Kitty :) An unplanned clash of wardrobes.... Liam was feeling a little left out

A well earned rest on Day 1

Nora first time in the BIG BATH . . . after the initial nervousness she loved it :)

Nora telling Grandad all about it...

The "grown ups" had a "come dine with me....... masterchef" experience, this is main course on the second night, actually it was the winning dish and the winning team - Nana, Fleur, Seamus and Solfrid.

Zara heading of on a stroll around the lake - all bases covered

Nana and Grandad taking their share of the load - really hard going, these prams are not what they used to be!

Looking down on the family over lake windermere

Nana giving us a helping hand

Liam found the double chocolate biscuits when he thought no one was looking but little did he know mum had her camera out trying to get a pic of his gorgeous bottom ;-)
A few experts teaching us how to skim stones. Zara reckons she got 8.... she is dreaming, it is not as easy as it looks!

A trip to Lakeside which is at the bottom of Lake Windermere - not much to do there except eat.....
......and catch a steam train to nowhere. Nana and her UK girls!

Camping at Pevensey Bay

Mum took us to Pevensey Bay for a weeks camping with a couple of other mums, three tents, three mums and seven kids. Liam is helping out with the dinner, cooking up some SMASH

Eastbourne Boulevard - a tad breezy

On the end of Eastbourne Pier - hunkered down to stop from blowing away

Tea time back at the camp

A dip at Pevensey Bay - Sarah had to hold Liams hand to stop him attempting the channel crossing - this is where William landed in 1066 before he conquered Harold :)

Our picturesque campsite

Yay the dads are here - they arrived on Friday night to spend the weekend

Pevensey castle - where the battle of hastings took place - just to add some history on here!
