The Cotswolds

While nana and grandad were here in the UK we wanted to see some more of the lovely english countryside so we packed our bags again and headed to the very very beautiful Cotswolds. As it was a kids trip we did lots of kids things, 1st stop Cotswold Farm Park where we got to pat rabbits and guinea pigs and feed lots of animals.

Zara thought she looked the part in Charlies hat. The donkey wasn't overly impressed though.

Grandad and Zara talking to the farm animals, grandad telling Zara all about it.

Zara and I on the go garts.

Maddy, Zara and I in our new bumble bee gumboots splashing in the puddles at Bourton on the Water, not much else to do when it rains and rains and rains.

Maddy and I in the model village of B.o.t.W.

My little BIG sister Zara at the model village.

More bumble bee action in the puddles, we spent the day in the puddles, visiting the model village, model trains, a motor museum, eating scones, jam and clotted cream (well some of us ate the cream) and finally a pub meal who says there is nothing to do in the rain :-)

Back in Stow on the Wold which is the village we stayed in for 3 nights, Grandad bought some sunflowers at the farmers market, not sure what they put in the water here in stow but they sure were big sunflowers, a bit too big for Zara.

The market centre of Stow on the Wold another beautiful village in the cotswolds, one of many beautiful villages, what a lovely part of the world.
