For the first time ever I had my birthday in NZ. We were in Taupo with Nana and Poppa
We made the most of being on holiday and did some touristy things, like watching the dam gates opening, Huka Falls, glass blowing and a Honey Farm
It was great to be with lots of the family
We had a special lunch at Huka Falls Restaurant
And they surprised me with Birthday Cake

When we got home Uncle Marty sparked up the old record player and we all boggied to a bit of Solid Gold Hits 33 - a real old fashioned party!
Nana organised a birthday cake for me and Christian to blow out the candles, he is 5 in May
When we got down south Aunty Dossy put on another birthday party for me, with lots of yummy party food and a beautiful butterfly cake.
Under Aunty Dossy's instruction Nana and Zara helped make the "Ice Creams" They were a big hit :)
Somewhere under my new sun hat I am blowing out the candles. Thanks to everyone who made my birthday so special x
